Sandra McDonough, inventor and founder of the Eye Guide MC device, has suffered with Parkinson’s for over 20 years. Her determination to find a way to reclaim her independence kept her going and is the reason why the Eye Guide MC device was created. The device has dramatically transformed her quality of life as she no longer needs a wheelchair or walking frames.

Sandra hopes that the Eye Guide MC device will continue to help others and in the long term, support the team in setting up a centre of excellence for Parkinson’s sufferers and their careers.

Chris McDonough has spent the last 18 years as a carer for his wife Sandra who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s on the eve of her 40th birthday. Since then, Chris and Sandra have helped sufferers across the UK regain their independence with the Eye Guide MC device.

Chris lends a helping hand and a listening ear to all customers who walk through the door. Chris’ long-term goal is to set up a care home/centre of excellence, specifically for people with Parkinson’s, to enable carers time to recuperate.

Sandra Worts has been in the financial business since 1989 so her wealth of knowledge is put to good use when it comes to running and managing Eye Guide MC. Sandra has helped to make Sandra and Chris’ dream of Eye Guide MC a reality and forms part of the backbone structure as she handles all financial aspects of the business.
