Hello! I’m Sandra McDonough, the inventor and founder of the Eye Guide MC. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s on the eve of my 40th birthday and my symptoms rapidly worsened.
We would like to thank the following for their help and generosity, without them our journey would have been much different.
We're proud to be awarded by:
“Since wearing the device my overall demeanour, posture, coordination, and balance appears much improved. I sense that whilst wearing it I am more in control of my overall mobility and I am not so restless when seated, I am able to stand from the seating position much more easily than previously and the majority of the time, without direct assistance! Fundamentally there appears to be an overall improvement in my Parkinson’s symptoms.”
Harriet
“I thought the fitting session was extremely well run. The Eye Guide MC was tried on my left side initially but had no noticeable effect. When it was tried on the right side its effect was immediate when it was adjusted to the best position. As I unwound, I became better balanced, and my walking improved almost immediately. I have not used a stick or taken painkillers since that day.
My mood has greatly improved, and I have found my sense of humour, and I take an interest in life much more. It has brought my personality back. We have noticed that if the Eye Guide MC moves, (drops or comes unstuck) when I am wearing it the change in my footfall is quite noticeable and can be restored by a small adjustment.”
Phil
“Philip and I would like to thank Sandra, Janette and the team so much for their professionalism, compassion, patience, understanding and care which they displayed when they fitted Philip’s Eye Guide MC device.
Nothing is too much trouble for them and no question goes unanswered. Their attitude extends to the carers too.”
Veronica, Manchester
